Basics of Sleep Apnea
Sleep apnea is a sleeping disorder in which obstruction of the airway interrupts breathing. While it’s easy to mistake sleep apnea for snoring, this condition can cause very serious health issues if left untreated.
At Riverbend Sleep, we believe in educating patients on the warning signs and consequences of the breathing condition to help them get the comprehensive care they deserve. By working with local medical specialists and general physicians, our Salem dentists can help restore your normal breathing pattern and prevent long-term or permanent damage to your health.
Using the most advanced technology and latest treatments, Dr. Aldrich and Dr. Ross can help find a sleep apnea treatment that meets your needs and fits your lifestyle. We focus on creating custom oral appliances that can be used independently or in combination with your CPAP treatment. Thanks to our comprehensive approach to managing the symptoms of sleep apnea, our dentists in Salem, OR are able to help patients achieve a better night’s rest and improved overall health.
Meet Dr. Aldrich and Dr. Ross
Dr. Aldrich and Dr. Ross have been practicing dentistry together for years, going all the way back to receiving their Bachelor’s degrees in Dental Hygiene at Oregon Health & Science University. After taking a break from education to focus on their families, the two once again set off to dental school at the same time.
Since entering private practice together, our Salem dentists developed an interest in sleep apnea and have since worked closely with local physicians and sleep specialists to help those who suffer from the disorder. They now work together to provide the best possible care for all their patients.
